A small lap quilt aimed at covering knees when it gets chilly.

Mind you the way the weather is here at the moment we might need it any day now.

Last week we were basking in glorious warm sunshine

Today is dry mixture of sunshine and clouds

Last week it was 26c this week 16c

Any hoo the quilt is made up from Flora Charm Pack by Lauren & Jessi Jung for Moda

Have been trying something new this week

Decided to get my act together and recover the fireside chair in the lounge.

Thanks to a bargin buy from well known auction site I had extra Laura Ashley material (BRODIE) left from making the lounge curtains.

These are a couple of  pics of the chair through the stripping stage

Can you believe this is the amount of staples I removed !!!!

And hey presto the finished result

I am well pleased it has to be said

Think it looks pretty good

Paint brushes are now at the ready the long awaited shower room has been plastered and is drying out nicely should be ready for painting tomorrow woo hoo
