I love old fashioned standard lamps.
Every home in the fifties and sixties seemed to have one.
Problem :- hubbie not so keen
A trip to Country Affair Kinross last weekend I spied one in the
corner, it was white with bumble bees painted on it with a mis- matched shade
Colin's face was a picture when I returned to the car with it.
Asked him to trust me and so another bit of recycling took place.
I forgot to take picture of the stand before I painted it
I striped the lampshade
Got lovely material at Rejects
Hey presto
I am delighted with it and looks great in the livingroom
The best bit Hubbie likes it too
