Spent some of the evening yesterday looking at photos

The ones that made me smile for various reasons are

The dress was yellow and the cat was called Beauty all her cats were were called that.

Diary

As previously stated I am and most probably always will

be a magazine junkie. Especially home magazines

I have noticed that for me the magazines are now very samey

and I am not enjoying them so much.

A couple of months back I found Daphne's Diary

At £4.99 it's a wee bit pricey but I love it and I have stopped

buying other magazines. Mind you I still hit WH Smiths and flick through the pages

of the old favourites.

I love the format and the shabby chicness of it

Right up my street.

You also get paper craft things to make and use

It's my new fav

4 Coats

Finished the sideboard last night

It had one coat of undercoat and 3 thin coats of Elephants Breath.

New handles from Dunelm Mill and we're sorted.

 

The unit will hold sky box, dvd player etc and a new TV on top which we hope to pick up on Sunday.

Also got single beds for the room that the kids sleep in when they stay so its had a mini makeover

American Likes

America has a few things I wish we could adopt more readily

Clapperboard Houses, wrap around porches with a couple of rocking chairs,

white picket fences and wreaths for different seasons

We have a small wreath that stays on our door all year apart from when it is

replaced with the Christmas one

A visit to Hobbycraft on Friday I spied a small twig wreath I knew I had

faux hydrengeas at home so .......

Half an hour ago this

I am so chuffed with the result not bad for a first attempt

 

Wouldn't mind sitting here watching the world go by while

doing a bit of hand quilting....... Bliss...... a girls allowed to dream

Old dog new tricks...... No chance

Couple of cushions made for Delaney Court household

"Angelic Zoe with Bones"

Fabrics are Too Cute to Spook and Zombie Apocalypse Attack

both by Riley Blake. Backing Moda solids in orange and purple

When I purchased the fabric I noticed Zoe and Bones already to

be made up. Easy thought I. Doh !!!!!!! I unpicked the doll 4 times

How can something that should be simple be so difficult.

I was planning a Tilda doll as a Christmas make that might not

be such a good idea might be ready in 2015........

Then again it could be launched out the window
