Goodies & Baddies

Halloween is nearly upon us

The girlie and boy had a party at a neighbours after school today

which was a great success. Mum text to say they had a blast.

The girlies school party is this evening.

The boys nursery one is tomorrow.

I had a request for a Poison Ivy costume

Felt ivy shapes sewn on a leotard,

cape made from lining, red spray in her hair and we were sorted

Found bright green pumps at a bargin price on the famous auction site

The boy wanted to be Wolverine which was a simple shop purchase.

Not the best photos need to invest in a new phone with better camera

Cutie footie wear

My niece has had a baby girl

Phoebe Marie Fotheringham

A sister for Charlotte (Lottie)

Couldn't resist this outfit from Debenhams

It's by John Rocha

My favourite part

These too cute wee shoes

Becoming a Free Spirt

Good few months ago while browsing the Internet I came across

Comfort & Joy by Dena Designs for Free spirt

I loved it and some kind person gave me a selection of fat quarters for my birthday

Now going totally against my nature (wee bit of control freak) I decided to just chop the fabric

with no real plan apart from knowing I wanted it to be random.

I sewed the pieces together just as they came into my hand with no rhyme or reason.

I am happy with how it looks...... Yes......almost

There are a few tweaks I would make but I will leave it be

And be true to my first thoughts

I am learning to become a free spirt slowly but surely

Onesies and moving on

It was a pj or onesie day at the girlies school and the boys nursery class.

There was great excitement this morning preparing to head there

It was a moving day for their mum. She has worked in Education Dept at local

council for the past couple of years.

She has be fortunate enough to be offered a job at a local primary school.

She arrived at work this morning to this.

I know it was not easy for her to decide to move on due to very special friendships that have been forged.

I along with her family and friends know this is the best decision for her and her family.

Her dad and I wish her every success in her new venture and send her much love.
